Bishop Fleming has advised on the sale of Chozen Noodle to Chopstix Group.
The deal sees Asian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain Chopstix acquire Chozen Noodle’s 27 franchised sites across Moto and Roadchef motorway service areas (MSAs). Building on Chopstix Group’s already strong presence in MSAs, the acquisition of these Chozen sites takes the group’s presence at MSAs to 53 sites and is an important step in consolidating its position as the largest Asian QSR operator in the UK.
Bishop Fleming provided corporate finance advisory services to the Chozen Noodle vendors, Matthew Kirby, John Dodds and CP Foods.
Matthew Kirby, said: “I’m extremely proud of the business we have grown, and we’re pleased that Chozen will be passing into the safe hands of Jon and the team at Chopstix. On the financial due diligence side we were well represented by Phil Redgate and his team at Bishop Fleming who helped guide the deal through to a successful conclusion.“
Phil Redgate, Corporate Finance Senior Manager said: “We are delighted to have supported the Chozen Noodle vendors on this successful transaction and look forward to following the Group’s future success.“
The Bishop Fleming team advising on the transaction included Phil Redgate, Charles Davey, Kieren Smith, Max Armstrong, Francis Jackson and Dan Pitt.
