Bishop Fleming has advised Hydrock on the acquisition of M&E and sustainability engineering consultancy business, Kelly Taylor & Associates (‘KTA’).
KTA was founded in the 1980s and has over three decades of experience proving M&E and sustainability consultancy support to both blue-chip developers and end users within the logistics and distribution warehouse sector.
The acquisition complements Hydrock’s well established multi-disciplinary service offering, which includes a strong existing M&E and energy and sustainability capability, and their established presence in the logistics sector.
KTA employ 20 staff in total from two locations, in Plymouth, Devon, and Lutterworth, Leicestershire, and this takes Hydrock’s total headcount to 550.
Bishop Fleming provided financial and tax due diligence advisory services to Hydrock on the deal. This acquisition follows on from Hydrock’s 2019 acquisition of MRB Consultant Engineers, a deal which Bishop Fleming also advised on.
