She is responsible for managing our relationship with ICAEW, monitoring compliance and procedures, and ensuring learning and development is appropriate for everyone in the practice.
She sits on the Practice Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), and is the current President of the ICAEW Chartered Accountants South West –her qualifications include FCA BSc (Hons). In addition to these voluntary roles, she sits on the local Young Enterprise board.
Describing her role, Caroline says “As the firm’s Technical and Training Partner, my aim is to maximize technical knowledge, efficiencies, quality, and staff development and of course ensure the best possible client experience. I’m not an ‘anorak’, but after twelve years of overseeing Bishop Fleming’s technical compliance, I love the task of helping to ensure the quality of what we deliver”.
