Dominic Harry is a Senior Personal Tax Manager and a key member of the Private Client Services team.
He spent 4 years working for HM Revenue and Customs, before joining Bishop Fleming in 1989.
Dominic spends most of his time providing strategic tax advice to high net worth clients on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and personal tax matters. He also advises the Trustees of a number of UK and offshore Trusts on UK tax matters affecting Trustees and beneficiaries alike. His qualifications include CIOT.
Dominic places great importance on being able to look at “the bigger picture” when advising on these matters, saying that “it doesn’t always follow that the most obvious tax solution is the most practical or preferred option as far as my clients are concerned.”
Dominic also advises on cross border employment tax and social security issues, assisting inbound and outbound business clients with these complex issues, and advises businesses on profit extraction, remuneration and succession planning.
When he is not at work Dominic divides his time between his family (his wife Barbara and their two teenage children), running to keep fit and watching Plymouth Argyle.
