Agri-tech Cornwall supports Cornish-based SMEs to improve efficiency, profitability and resilience in the agricultural sector. The £10m scheme is funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with match funding by Cornwall Council.
The project is led by the Duchy College Rural Business School in partnership with the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, Rothamsted Research, and the Cornwall Development Company. Applicants can be from any sector providing the research supports growth, productivity or market development in ‘Agri-tech’ – the sector providing innovative goods and services for the agriculture, horticulture and food sectors.

Agri-tech Cornwall will also create a ‘Future Farm’ based at Duchy College’s Stoke Climsland campus to enable research and development, and measure different factors and technologies for a healthy, productive and profitable dairy farm.
