Leading Advisory Firm Celebrates Rising Up The UK Rankings

Top 30 advisory firm, Bishop Fleming, is celebrating its rise up the charts of the UK accountancy league tables.

The firm, which has offices in Worcester, Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth and Truro, and delivers accounting, tax, corporate restructuring and advisory services to businesses and private wealth advice to individuals, welcomed the news that is now ranked 29th in the prestigious Accountancy Age league table.

Bishop Fleming has been one of the fastest-growing advisory firms in the country, and this year saw its turnover increased by nearly 6 per cent through organic growth to £23.62m.

The firm has 29 partners and over 340 staff in the UK and is also ranked 26th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For. It is also the number one provider of professional services to academies in the UK.

Commenting on the rise in ranking, Bishop Fleming Managing Partner, Andrew Sandiford said:

“Our ascension in the rankings to 29th reflects our ever-strengthening team and is recognition of how we help our clients to achieve their full potential. Our business growth enables us to continually invest in new talent to expand our team even further.”

He added: “Despite uncertainty over Brexit, Bishop Fleming has continued to experience rapid growth in demand for our services across all sectors. The firm is set to expand even further with the forthcoming digital tax revolution and other key issues including Big Data analytics.”

The good news comes on top of Bishop Fleming also being recognised for its “exceptional” service to clients and being awarded Gold status by Investor in Customers. The firm is one of only 25 per cent of businesses who undertake the assessment to achieve the Gold standard.

Bishop Fleming has also just launched a new wellbeing initiative for its people, kickstarted with week of activities rolled out across its 7 UK offices, covering such issues as nutrition, financial advice and mindfulness.

Last year saw the firm win AccountingWEB’s Practice Excellence Award for a large firm and saw its corporate finance team win Business Leader ‘Corporate Deal of the Year” for their lead advisory work.
